“The Box” is finished

So over the past few weeks I have been building a box to better control my brew temperatures. I am happy to say that the box has now been completed.

I will be able to put brews in there now and the temperature will stay a bit more consistent but will still vary. So, the next step in the process is to put together a temperature control system. This will help me keep temperatures to within .5 of a degree. This process will take a bit longer as I need to source some parts for it and then figure out how to put it together without electrocuting myself.

But, for now here are some pictures of the box.

Welcome

Hello to all the people that may read this blog.  I have just found a (un)healthy appreciation for Homebrew. As I am very new to the Homebrew scene I am still very raw in the whole process. I have seen a few other blogs about people and their Homebrew adventures so to keep track of what I am doing (and to show off a bit as I learn) I thought I would have a go at sharing all the triumphs and failures of my journey.

As I have a love for food also, I will add any nice (respectable) recipes that I cook using beer in the process.

So feel free to add any hints and tips that I may find handy as I will take everything on board.

Cheers!
